Why "Request Pricing"?

About 60% of our establishments are Guest House/Bed & Breakfast/Self Catering establishments, without an online/direct booking system. So unlike other websites that offer Hotels, we also offer the less promoted establishments throughout Africa, which gives you the experience that you are looking for. All of these 60% of establishments are not connected to the internet as Hotels are, so you are not able to book direct.

You can however "Request Pricing" with them, asking them specific questions about your needs. We recommend that you request several quotes in your search, to find the accommodation that best suits your needs. Most establishments reply to your requests within several hours, giving you the opportunity to choose between several establishments, to give you the opportunity to make the best choice available!

In the Water Tower

My teenage daughter and I spent three lovely nights in the Water Tower in the company of a sweet black cat. We were initially a bit apprehensive about the long drop, but appreciated the environmental advantages of the system. The daily dosage of chalk, effectively reduced the odor. I just think that accommodation is generally overpriced in SA, R350 per night for this rather basic accommodation is stiff on the South African pocket.

Burrowing down in the 'aardvark' lodging

We had a thoroughly fantastic stay in the 'aardvarks burrow'. A unit with character sensitive to the environment but which had all the creature comforts required. Hot water bottles and electric blankets, hot shower, beautiful prints on the walls and two doors away from the Owl House. A kids paradise with old farming equipment outside the front door, donkey rides and no cars. Management was friendly and helpful going out of their way to accommodate our young children. We will definitely be returning soon.
