Seeing lions in the Kruger park from Marloth park

Loved everything.. from the birds breaking the morning, lions roaring at night time until sunset.

Warm and Friendly

Our welcome was warm, friendly and informative and it just got better and better. The room was well appointed and very comfortable and we especially appreciated the fridge and deep freeze facilities which we needed on this particular trip. The secure off street covered parking was excellent and certainly a bonus for our keen cyclist who had taken his bicycle along. We enjoyed our stay very much and would certainly go back as well as encourage other travellers to do so. Our dinner at one of the local restaurants was also very good.

Spes Bona Guesthouse

Our stay was comfortable. It was a cold night and the beds were pre heated by electric blankets. Our hosts waited up for us. We arrived at 11pm and this was much appreciated.

Comfortable stay

It was a welcome halt at Spae Bona in colesberg after a tired day on the road from Joburg to Cape and vice versa. All we needed was a quiet place with a pleasant weather and comfortable stay. Spae Bona and Colesberg gave us all that. An easy distance from the market place and heritage churches, it was pleasurable and relaxing to walk on the streets of colesberg. And yes, the people of the town were as friendly as out hosts at Spes Bona!
