About 60% of our establishments are Guest House/Bed & Breakfast/Self Catering establishments, without an online/direct booking system. Description
Driftsands Guest House offers the hospitality of a cosy home and is owner run. We have secure off street parking and a swimming pool. Driftsands is ideally situated close to the city centre, airport, boardwalk Casino complex, beaches, stunning public heated pools and a variety of restaurants and pubs.
Rooms are comfortably furnished and have tea & coffee making facilities, refrigerators and TVs with M-Net. Three have self catering facilities and private lounges and one has a sea view. Begin the day with our delicious full English breakfast.

This suite has a bedroom, kitchenette, lounge with TV and balcony with sea view with barbeque facilites and own entrance The kitchenette has a refrigerator, griller, microwave oven and crockery and cutlery. Heater in the bedroom. Two single beds and two single bed sleeper couches in the lounge. Secure off street parking with remote controlled access.

This room has an en suite bathroom with shower and bath and also a refrigerator, heater, fan, television, tea and coffee tray, own entrance onto pretty garden with private patio. Secure off street parking with remote controlled access.

This room looks out onto the garden and has its own entrance and patio. There is a refrigerator,microwave oven, heater and fan. Crockery and cutlery are provided. Secure off street parking with remote controlled access.

Nice and comfortable. Walking distance to City Center or in the other direction beaches and boardwalk

Lovely rest
I stayed 12 nights at Driftsands in February.
Sheila, Robert & the staff looked after me very well.
The guest house is not far from the beach and the promanade and a morning walk along the beach was very restful.
The accommodation was very clean, breakfast more than adequate and the room was always available throughout the day through your own access.
Would certainly use again.

First class welcome
If I visit Port Elizabeth next time I will certainly stay a Driftsands Guest House and it was a first class welcome, hospitality and very very clean and will certainly recommend to friends.

Good guest house
Location was reasonable, about 5 mins walk to the sea front.
Comfortable rooms, good facilities. Bathroom bit dated. great breakfast though !
