Description
Situated on the west coast of Mahe, Le Méridien Barbarons is set amidst tropical gardens, sparkling indigo lagoons and pure white sands.
The hotel offers a choice of 124 air-conditioned rooms situated on different levels and they all enjoy sea views. Each room sleeps two adults and one child with cribs available on request. The rooms are furnished with comfortable double beds and the bathrooms consist of baths and showers. Each bathroom also has a hairdryer and bathrobes.
The Superior Rooms and Deluxe Rooms are equipped with LCD TVs and DVD players, while the Executive Suites have separate lounges equipped with plasma TVs, as well as home cinemas and espresso coffee machines. For your convenience, all rooms also have minibars and in-room safes.
Spa Cinq Mondes offers a variety of beauty treatments, massages, a scrum room and a gym. The Rooftop deck is the ideal place for sunset cocktails while watching the sunsets and soaking in a Jacuzzi. Guests can also make use of the tennis court and for those looking to do some diving or snorkelling; the hotel is contracted with Angelfish which is a PADI Dive Centre. The Penguin Club is a great place for children between four and 12 years, and it is open daily from 09:00 to 17:00 at no extra charge.
For meals and drinks, Le Méridien Barbarons offers a choice of two restaurants and two bars which offer a variety of cocktails and eating options, as well as a variety of activities to keep everyone entertained. The hotel also offers a conference centre that can accommodate up to 180 people. With its sliding doors, meetings or cocktail parties can be extended onto the beach for a unique mix of business and pleasure.
Guests can enjoy activities such as beach volleyball, beach football, aqua gym, horse riding, golfing or walks on one of the lovely nature trails. Various national monuments, beautiful Creole houses, artists' studios, national reserves and marine parks can be visited while exploring the hotel's surrounds.
