About 60% of our establishments are Guest House/Bed & Breakfast/Self Catering establishments, without an online/direct booking system. So unlike other websites that offer Hotels, we also offer the less promoted establishments throughout Africa, which gives you the experience that you are looking for. All of these 60% of establishments are not connected to the internet as Hotels are, so you are not able to book direct.
You can however "Request a Quote" with them, asking them specific questions about your needs. We recommend that you request several quotes in your search, to find the accommodation that best suits your needs. Most establishments reply to your requests within a couple of hours, giving you the opportunity to choose between several establishments and make the best choice available!
Description
Situated in George, Bergsig B&B is the ideal place to stay for a breakaway weekend, holiday or when you are on business in the Garden Route. We are walking distance from shops and restaurants and about 8 kms from the beach.
The guest house is a separate building from the main house with a private entrance and off-street parking. In our rooms with their crisp & clean linen and towels we have double or single beds, en-suite bath/shower facilities, TV with m-net and coffee/tea facilities. There is also a private sun deck with panoramic views of the Outeniqua Mountains.
Although the rooms are mostly rented out individually – with or without breakfast, the guest house can also serve as a Family Unit sleeping up to 8 persons with self-catering option with a fully-equipped kitchen/lounge area on ground floor. Three bedrooms are upstairs and a fourth bedroom on ground floor with private entrance the rooms can also be rented for single or double occupancy. The self-catering unit must be taken with a minimum of two rooms. Special rates apply to the self-catering unit depending on the number of rooms occupied.

Double (3 units)
Double bed, on suite shower, tv with m-net, ceiling fan, heater, balcony, coffee facility, refrigerator.
Self-cater (1 unit)
Fully equipped kitchen/lounge area on ground floor. Three bedrooms upstairs and fourth bedroom on ground floor with private entrance. S/catering unit with minimum 2 rooms.
Room 1 (1 unit)
Upstairs front room is available for single or double occupancy it has a double bed, en-suite shower, TV with M-net, ceiling fan, heater and sun deck with access via the lounge and kitchen.

Room 2 (1 unit)
Upstairs middle room is available for double or single occupancy. With access via the lounge and kitchen, has two single beds, TV with M-net, ceiling fan, heather and private bathroom with bath next door.

Upstairs back room has a double bed, en-suite shower, TV with M-net, ceiling fan, heater, microwave and balcony with separate entrance. Room is available for single or double occupancy.

Great stay at Bergsig B&B
The Bergsig B&B was the perfect kind of self-catering accommodation. All the rooms (we booked out all 4) were welcoming and neat and the en suite bathrooms in 3 of them (the one room didn't have an en suite) were great. We were left on our own, so that we could come and go as we pleased. We were also provided with two secure parking bays. We had all the amenities we needed. We even had chocolates on our beds (not necessary but a nice touch). Lastly, the accommodation was very affordable. Only one drawback: The bottom floor room smelled a bit musty. Overall, we were extremely happy. Thank you to Loraine.

Excelent stay!
We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the place to everyone. The people are very friendly and really made sure that we were comfortable and helped with everything. The guest house is very centrally located.
