Niki-Nana Backpackers hostel is situated close to East London's main beaches and not far from most of the attractions that East London has to offer. Niki-Nana Backpackers is a rather alternative choice from your usual lodges. With us you'll find quiet and tranquil surroundings away from the hustle and bustle of a busy and overcrowded resort. We are situated a mere five minutes’ walk from the main beachfront esplanade, and our lodge is neat, clean and restful. We are passionate about this place and dedicated to making your stay as comfortable as possible.
Niki-Nana Backpackers was originally a family home, so it is understandable why this hostel has been put together with tender loving care. The hostel is now six years old. A rather small and intimate backpacker, Niki-Nana sleeps guests comfortably in Dorms and Double or Private Rooms, and campers can pitch a tent overlooking a crystal clear swimming pool in our secluded garden. Although we cater by majority for foreign travellers, our doors are open to all walks of life and is often frequented by hiking groups, sport teams, golfing buddies, volunteers and others.
By day, slip into a lazy sun lounger and sip drinks at our sparkling swimming pool, and at night, dine under the stars and barbecue in our secluded tropical garden, transformed into a candlelit fairytale at night. For your convenience, we offer a free pool table, a coin-operated telephone, a dart board, a music centre, a book exchange, a communal TV, and Internet access. We offer free collection from bus and train stations, and also have a laundry service.
Nearby places of interest and activities include game parks, lion parks, an aquarium and dolphin lookout, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, yacht cruises, helicopter rides, horse riding, surfing, wake boarding, sand boarding, and city-township and shebeen tours.
