Description
Ashley Guesthouse was established in 2009, it is owner managed and you are assured of the best attention and service at all times. We are in a suburb called Sydenham. Surrounding areas are Overport, Musgrave, Sherwood. The guesthouse is very centrally located, just two minutes from the N3 Highway. Ten minutes to the city centre and beachfront. Durban's famous Florida road, home to the trendiest restaurants and nightclubs, is just a seven minute drive. Surrounded by shopping malls; Westwood Mall, Musgrave Centre, Pavilion Shopping Centre, all with in a 10 km radius and the biggest of them all, Gateway Shopping Centre in Umhlanga, 20 km . Within walking distance from the house, you will find a police station, a hospital, pharmacy, supermarket, liquor store, butchery, bakery, popular takeaway outlets as well as public transport.
Unit 1 has three bedrooms and unit 2 has two bedrooms. These are fully equipped for self-catering which include washing machine and iron. Other facilities include a hairdryer and hair Iron on request, TV with DStv and DVD player, air-conditioning in main room, braai area, babysitting, faxes, photocopies and Wi-Fi access. Small pets allowed by prior arrangement. Secure parking. Basic maid service and fresh towels supplied daily.
Complimentary refreshment tray on arrival. Breakfast or Dinner can be arranged for parties of four or more at an additional cost.

Unit 1 (3 units)
Unit 1 is our six sleeper, it has three bedrooms, a king-size bed in the main room, a queen-size bed in the second room and two three-quarter beds in the third room. The main room has space to fit another queen-size bed to accommodate a larger group, it will then sleep eight. This unit has only one bathroom.

Unit 2 (2 units)
Unit 2 is our four sleeper, it has two rooms, the main room has a queen-size bed and en-suite bathroom. The second room has two three-quarter beds, this room can also fit an extra queen bed to accommodate two more. There is also a second bathroom in this unit.

I enjoyed my stay very much, the environment was very relaxing after spending a day of sightseeing and being in a lot of crowds at the beach. It was like going to a music festival and then coming to the quiet of your own home. The host was also very hospitable and helpful, Thank you very much!
