Excellent

Great place to spend the night, relaxing and quiet

Tony Gornall from South Africa, 06 Jan 2010

Well equipped

Very friendly welcome on arrival. During the stay very well looked after. Excellent information about the farm. We were allowed to harvest fruit from the trees. We got a lovely supper of lamb. The apartment was well equipped.

at the end of a long day...

It was such a pleasure to overnight at Rooidam, especially after a long hot trip. The pleasant welcome from Bonquet and the spacious and comfortable accommodation made our stay most relaxing. The swim and the giant fig tree were unexpected and welcome. It would be nice to spend more time here and explore the veld.

Roger Dixon from South Africa, 06 Jan 2010

It was fab!!!

Anfre and Bonguet Raath were very friendly and made us feel at home. They are very special people. I will definitely stay at the Cottage if I go that way again.

Very nice stopover

We where received with a very big smile late at night when we arrived. A beautiful and comfy setting with everything we might have needed. Got a very good night's rest. Would definitely recommend this beautiful friendly stop over.

We had an excellent stay.

We arrived at 6:30 in the evening and Andre and his wife had already organised braai packs. The facilities and hospitality far exceeded our expectations.

Fantastic little Eden

These are possibly the friendliest people you will ever meet and the cottage is beautiful. The setting is magnificent and we wished we could have stayed a lot longer.

Excellent facilities

This is the place to be if you want to truly experience the hospitality and excellence of the Karoo. Our best experience on this holiday. Great people, warm atmosphere, happy memories. Got to go back to Rooidam.

Rooidam Cottage

Wonderful accommodation which is not reflected in the pictures on the internet. The setting is very natural with the sound of nature and animals. Andre and Bonquet are the most hospitable couple and they made the stay over most enjoyable.

Sally-Ann Urtel from South Africa, 16 Aug 2010

A refreshing break

Unfortunately my stay was only for one night, but it was a most enjoyable Karoo experience. Greatly enhanced by the hospitality of Bonquet and André.

Nick Baglow from South Africa, 24 Aug 2010

Lovely

This was a really nice cottage and is ideal for more than just a stop-over.
